FamilySearch offers several ways to print and share your family tree.

Fan Chart (Most Popular)

1. Go to your Family Tree
2. Click on yourself or your starting person
3. Click "Print" or the printer icon
4. Choose "Fan Chart"
5. Select number of generations (4-7)
6. Click "Download PDF"

Pedigree Chart

A traditional chart showing your direct ancestors in a horizontal layout.

Family Group Record

Shows one family unit - parents and all their children with dates and places.

Tips for Printing

• Check your information before printing
• Consider printing at a print shop for large charts
• Fan charts make great gifts for family reunions
• Add photos to make it more personal

Sharing Digitally

You can also share your tree by:

• Downloading a PDF to email
• Taking a screenshot
• Sharing a link to your profile
