Step 1: Navigate to FamilySearch.org
Open your web browser and go to the FamilySearch website:
- Visit FamilySearch.org.
Step 2: Access the Help Menu
From the FamilySearch homepage, you need to find the Help menu.
- Look for the Help option in the top navigation bar.
- Click on Help.

- Scroll down to the bottom of the page.
- Look for the Contact Us link, often located in the footer section of the page.
- Click on Contact Us.

On the Contact Us page, you'll find various ways to get in touch with FamilySearch. The Family History Center search tool is available on this page.
- On the Contact Us page, look for the heading related to Family History Centers or Local Resources.
- Click the link that says something like "Find a Family History Center". The specific wording might vary slightly, but look for similar terms.
Step 6: Enter Your Location
Now you'll be taken to a map interface where you can search for centers near you.
- In the search box, type in your city, state, or zip code.
- Press Enter or click the Search icon (usually a magnifying glass).
Step 7: Browse the Results
The map will now display Family History Centers in your specified area.
- The map will show markers indicating the locations of the centers.
- Click on a marker to view details about the center, such as its address, phone number, hours of operation, and available resources.
- A list of Family History Centers will also appear below the map. You can scroll through this list and click on a center to view its details.
