FamilySearch can help you discover and connect with living cousins you never knew you had.

Relatives Around Me

1. Open the FamilySearch mobile app
2. Tap "Relatives Around Me"
3. The app shows relatives within Bluetooth range
4. Great for family reunions!

Finding Relatives in Your Tree

1. Go to your Family Tree on the website
2. Navigate to a common ancestor
3. Look at their descendants
4. Find living people (shown as "Living")

Privacy Note

FamilySearch protects living people's privacy:

• You can only see details of living people you added
• Others see "Living" instead of names
• Contact information is never shared

Connecting with Relatives

• Look for contributors who have edited shared ancestors
• Use the "Contact" feature (if they've enabled it)
• Join FamilySearch community groups
